Nothing has to be installed in the Magento store. Orders are read over Magento's own REST API, which only needs an integration created in the admin.
How it works

1. An order in the shop
A customer places an order in your store.

2. An invoice in Merit Aktiva
The invoice carries the customer details from the order and the same lines.

3. The payment
If a payment method has been mapped in the settings, the payment is recorded against the invoice as well.
Frequently asked questions
No. The module reads orders over Magento's own REST API. All you do is create an integration in the Magento admin, give it read access to sales orders, and copy the access token into the settings here.
By default the ones whose Magento state is processing or complete. You can change this in the settings.
Using pending is not recommended: the order has not been paid for and may still be cancelled, which would mean issuing a credit note afterwards.
- That the licence is still valid
- That the store address and the access token are entered correctly
- That the integration has been activated in the Magento admin (Activate → Allow)
- That the integration has read access to Sales → Orders
- That the Merit Aktiva API keys are in the right fields
- That the integration has been switched on in the settings
Yes. The settings screen lists the VAT rates your store has actually charged, and each one can be mapped to a Merit Aktiva tax type.
They do not have to be added in advance. If a product on the order is missing, the article is created automatically. Existing products are matched on their code.
If Merit Aktiva records payments on its own, set the settings here so that payments are not added.

Register a Merit Aktiva licence on e-liides.ee
- Sign in or create an account on e-liides.ee
- Once signed in, choose My account from the menu at the top right
- Click Order a new service
- Pick the Merit Aktiva module for the Magento platform and register the licence
- Click Configure in the licence list

Create an integration in the Magento admin
- Sign in to the Magento admin
- Open System → Extensions → Integrations and click Add New Integration
- Give the integration a name, for example Eliides
- On the API tab choose Resource Access → Custom and tick at least Sales → Operations → Orders
- Save, then click Activate on the new integration and confirm with Allow
- Copy the Access Token from the dialog
- Open Stores → Configuration → Services → OAuth → Consumer Settings and set Allow OAuth Access Tokens to be used as standalone Bearer tokens to Yes
- Magento 2.4.4 and later refuse the token without it, and no orders come through

Connect Merit Aktiva and Magento
- In "My account", click Configure on the licence
- Enter the store address and the access token you copied in the previous step
- If the shop has several store views, enter the code of the one whose orders you want
- Enter the Merit Aktiva API details, which you will find in the Merit Aktiva settings
- Choose the date from which Magento orders should be imported
- With every field filled in, click Create connection

Map the taxes and everything else
- Once connected, the mappings have to be filled in
- Map the taxes — the tax type is required, and the ledger account is required when the tax type has no default one
- Map each Magento payment method to the Merit Aktiva account the payment should be recorded against. If Merit Aktiva records payments itself, choose "Do not add payments"
- Choose a warehouse and a delivery article as well
- When everything is set, tick Activate the integration and allow orders to be imported
