VEEBIREBANE OÜ forwards the personal data required to carry out payments to the authorised processor Maksekeskus AS.

The following personal data is processed

name, telephone number and email address
bank account number
the cost of goods and services and payment-related data (purchase history)

Personal data is used to manage customer orders.

Purchase history data (date of purchase, product, quantity, customer details) is used to compile an overview of the goods and services purchased.

The bank account number is used to refund payments to the customer.

Personal data such as email address and customer name is processed in order to resolve questions related to the provision of goods and services (customer support).

The online store user’s IP address and other network identifiers are processed in order to provide the online store as an information society service and to compile web usage statistics.

Legal basis

Personal data is processed for the purpose of performing the contract concluded with the customer.

Personal data is processed in order to fulfil a legal obligation (for example accounting and the resolution of consumer disputes).

Recipients to whom personal data is transferred

Personal data is forwarded to the online store’s customer support in order to manage purchases and purchase history and to resolve customer problems.

If the online store’s accounting is handled by a service provider, personal data is forwarded to that provider for accounting purposes.

Personal data may be forwarded to information technology service providers where this is necessary to ensure the functionality of the online store or data hosting.

Security and access to data

Personal data is kept on servers located in the territory of a European Union member state or of a country that has joined the European Economic Area. Data may be transferred to countries whose level of data protection the European Commission has assessed as adequate.

Access to personal data is available to online store employees who may consult it in order to resolve technical issues related to using the online store and to provide customer support.

The online store applies appropriate physical, organisational and information technology security measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorised access and disclosure.

Transfers of personal data to the online store’s authorised processors (for example data hosting) take place on the basis of contracts concluded between the online store and those processors. Authorised processors are obliged to ensure appropriate safeguards when processing personal data.

Cookies

We use necessary cookies to make the website work: they remember your cookie choice (eliides_consent, 6 months), your language and your signed-in session. They are used without consent, because the service cannot be provided without them.

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd) for analytics. The _ga and _ga_* cookies are kept for up to 2 years and help us understand how the website is used. Google Analytics is not loaded before you consent and no request is made to Google's servers until then. We do not use advertising cookies.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. Withdrawing consent clears the analytics cookies automatically.

To be able to demonstrate consent (GDPR art 7(1)) we keep a record of your choice: a randomly generated consent id, the same one that is in your browser cookie, the time, the categories you selected, the banner revision, the language, the page address, a truncated IP address and the browser type. No name, e-mail or user account is linked to that record. These records are kept for 2 years, after which they are deleted automatically.

Withdrawal of consent

Where personal data is processed on the basis of the customer’s consent, the customer has the right to withdraw that consent by notifying customer support by email.

Retention

When an online store customer account is closed, personal data is deleted, except where such data must be retained for accounting purposes or for the resolution of consumer disputes.

In the case of disputes relating to payments or consumer matters, personal data is retained until the claim is satisfied or the limitation period expires.

Personal data required for accounting purposes is retained for seven years.

Deletion

To have personal data deleted, please contact customer support by email. A response to a deletion request is given no later than within one month, specifying the period for deleting the data.

Portability

A request for the transfer of personal data submitted by email is answered no later than within one month. Customer support verifies identity and informs the person of the personal data subject to transfer.

Direct marketing messages

The email address is used to send direct marketing messages where the customer has given the corresponding consent. If the customer does not wish to receive direct marketing messages, they should use the link in the footer of the email or contact customer support.

Where personal data is processed for direct marketing purposes (profiling), the customer has the right to object at any time to both the initial and any further processing of their personal data, including profiling related to direct marketing, by notifying customer support.
