Business Registry module

Typing a company name at checkout suggests matches from the Estonian Business Registry, along with the registry code and VAT number.

How it works

1. The customer starts typing

As a company name is typed into the checkout field, matches are looked up in the Business Registry.
2. The customer picks a company

Choosing a company from the results fills the fields in automatically.
3. The details are right

Name, registry code and VAT number reach the order exactly as they appear in the registry.

The module works with Estonian companies only, because there is no access to other countries’ registries.

Installation guide

Register a Business Registry module licence at e-liides.ee
- Log in or create a new account at e-liides.ee
- After logging in, choose My account from the menu at the top right
- Click Order a new service
- Choose the Business Registry module for the WooCommerce platform and enter your website domain, e.g. yourdomain.com
- Copy the generated licence key so you can use it in your WordPress settings later

Install the e-liides module into WordPress
- Download the e-liides WordPress module to your computer
- Log in to your website’s WordPress admin panel
- Choose Plugins from the left-hand menu
- Find the Upload Plugin button and click it
- Upload the module you saved earlier and click Install Now

Configuring the plugin in WordPress
- In your WordPress admin panel go to WooCommerce – Settings – Integration – Äriregister
- Enter the licence key from step 1 into the E-liides licence key field
